How to add a compulsory Privacy Policy checkbox?

Answer

You can add a compulsory "Privacy policy" checkbox so your require your clients to confirm that they accept it. You can include a link to your Policy page. Here are the steps to follow to achieve that:

  • In HBook->Misc, you will find a setting to display a Privacy Policy section. You should set it to "Yes"
  • In HBook->Text->Book now area ->Privacy Policy Text, you can modify the text displayed. You can add HTML tags which is what you will use to include a link to the page where you have written your Privacy Policy.

Here is an example of what you can write to have a link to a privacy policy page:

I have read and I accept the <a href="mysite.com/privacy-policy-url" target="_blank">privacy policy</a> for this booking.
